Business Energy Saver Program

In short, this rebate program is the government’s way of encouraging businesses with large industrial buildings to make the switch to more energy-efficient lighting systems in view of reducing our carbon footprint as a whole. The program is very lucrative and can save you up to 80% on the entire cost of the project. In addition, we are a trade ally with multiple utility companies which means we are able to process rebate applications in house, quickly and seamlessly.

We can assist you with applying for 60-month interest-free loans which means you can begin your project without having to budget any funds. This is simply paid out with the regular utility bill ongoing, split over 60 months.

How is the Program Funded?

The Business Energy Saver Program offers to pay businesses that upgrade their existing lighting to new energy-efficient LED lighting. This program is funded through the Societal Benefits charge on your utility bill.

Meaning you have been paying into it for as long as you’ve had a utility account.

How Much do I Qualify for?

The rebate you qualify for is based on the type of lights you have existing compared to the type you are installing. Rebates can cover a large percentage of your lighting costs. 

The utilities have outlined a process to qualify for rebates. Don’t worry we have successfully helped many companies secure rebates through these programs. We are very familiar with the process and file all necessary paperwork for our clients.

Are The Rebates Guaranteed?

Yes, once Vision Line submits the paperwork needed the rebate program will confirm exactly how much your business qualifies for. Once we receive the pre-approval letter, your funding is guaranteed. This amount will be held until the project is complete and both parties sign off.

When Do I Get My Rebate?

Once you receive the pre-approval letter from the rebate program you have the green light to complete the project. After the project is complete Vision Line submits the final documentation showing that the project was completed with no changes from what was originally submitted and that the project has been paid for. The rebate program manager then begins the final processing of the rebate payment.
